Holistic Massage

"The present moment is a wonderful moment."

- Thich Nhat Hanh

Holistic massage is a relaxing therapy aimed at harmonising mind, body and spirit. Smooth, flowing Swedish massage techniques are combined with acupressure to rebalance the body's vital energy. Holistic massage soothes the body’s muscular and nervous systems to promote relaxation and pain reduction. It also stimulates the circulatory and lymphatic systems to aid the de-toxification process.

People often seek holistic massage for some much needed 'time-out' from their busy lives, but others come for more specific reasons. Some of the reasons people seek holistic massage are:

  • Muscular or nerve pain
  • Stress, anxiety and depression
  • De-toxification
  • Fluid retention
  • Tiredness and fatigue
  • Poor circulation

What to expect in a session

In the first session I will ask you some questions about your health and wellbeing, and any physical pains you may be experiencing. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions and explain how you personally would like to benefit from treatment. Then you may relax on the couch and enjoy a soothing massage with natural plant oils. Sessions can be 60 or 90 minutes, depending on your preference.
